DRzhiyou — a WeChat platform construction program for providing data services for patients with retinopathy caused by type 2 diabetes
The full name of DR is diabetic retinopathy (a diabetic complication), and diabetes is one of the most common chronic disease. Generally, the cycle of diabetes is very long. The prevalsence of diabetes tends to be younger, and the general age drops down to 30-40 years from previous 60 years of age. DR is one of the most common diseases in diabetic complications. At present, averagely, 1 in 10 people has diabetes, and 3～4 in 10 patients with diabetes has diabetic retinopathy (hereinafter referred as “DR”), in China, with a total of more than 30 million people. In October 2015, 3SBio provided corresponding professional services for doctors and patients by establishing this WeChat interaction platform. Through “DRzhiyou”, patients with diabetic retinopathy can find a doctor and communicate with the doctor at any time no matter where they are, and professional doctor responsible for diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy can collect patient’s disease and other information for trace analysis and provide medical advice for patients, thus promoting the rehabilitation of patients.
